Getting started
The steps from signing in to your first verified listing, and what each one does and does not do.

The short version
- Sign in. You get a link by email. There are no passwords. You can also sign in with Google if it is enabled.
- Add your product. Give the website, name and a few words about it. You can let us read your website's title and description to suggest wording; we only do that when its robots.txt allows it, and you can edit or ignore the suggestion.
- Write two or three versions of the description. In your own words. We never write them for you.
- Choose directories. We list only directories that are free, with the evidence for each. Directories decide for themselves whether and when to publish.
- Preview with a dry run. It shows what would happen and changes nothing.
- Start a real run when you are ready. This is a separate, explicit step on the campaign page, and it needs a plan that includes real runs.
- Solve the occasional captcha if a directory shows one. See the captcha hand-over.
- See your verified backlinks. A listing counts only after we fetched its live page and found a link to your product. See how verification works.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a listing, a ranking or any traffic. Directories review submissions on their own terms, and some mark links as nofollow.
